Contemplating and pursuing life together at Grace Church, SLO
Nate Maas sent me these amazing pics of the storm last night. Thanks Nate! We had musical beds going on in our home last night. How did things go for you?

Oh yes, musical beds here as well. At one point it was Kevin, me, Anna and Kaitlyn all in our queen-sized bed...nice and cozy...
Anna loves to ask me questions and talk to me in bed. She likes to poke me and give me kisses and needless to say, the Heldt family didn't get enough sleep last night. :)
(But the storm was AMAZING! Reminded me of our week in CO.)
tim- check out my blog today - sounds like we had similar nights!
The kid was not a problem, slept right through it, even the ones right on top of the house.
The wife however.....
Wow, Andy way to be supportive. :)
I am deathly, utterly, ridiculously and completely irrationaly afraid of thunder. Always have been. Not afraid of lightning except that it means thunder is coming soon. Intellectually I know that it's silly, but I still get the shakes and hold back tears. Someday I might outgrow it...
Oh yes, all four of us in our bed for quite a while. The storms kept rolling through so every time we'd put Shannon back in her bed another storm would wake her up and she'd come back. After a couple times we just gave up.
It was nice cozy family time though.
the kids slept right through it. i was the one freaking out! i hate loud noises. always have. always will.
Crazy, wasn't it?! At three in the morning, half asleep, I wondered for a moment if I was back in Mississippi again. Thankfully Caedra slept right through it all.
It was a fun day for Darin at work. He's the weather forcaster for the airforce pilots at the airport here. Normally it's clear and above 100 degrees. So this storm was a fun change.
