Are you reading Al Mohler yet?

Its Friday and its my day at home. What a gorgeous day it is! This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Zeke and I went to get a haircut this morning and then to Sunshine Donuts for our cherished "mantime." I helped Sage a bit with her homeschool geography and got lunch on the table. I have lots more to do, but have to post one more. . .

Are you reading Albert Mohler yet, whom I recommended earlier this week? Yesterday and today's posts are both RED-HOT. . .

Truth's Assault on Modernity . . . a great explanation of the "5 reformation solas", which define what it means to be an evangelical.

Compromise and Confusion in the Churches . . . argues for doctrine and expository preaching contra the "emerging church movement."

My only beef is that Mohler is a bit longer than I am used to in the blogging format (but then some would say I am bit long on Sundays).

Enjoy and tell me what you think!

Wow, what a great blog! I agree that his posts are long, but if you can stick with it, you are blessed by an amazing amount of wisdom. I like the statement,

"The modern worldview is predicated upon chance and contingency, but the Word of God reveals the unconditional nature of divine providence, that God governs all that occurs and has surrendered none of His power."

It is so exciting to see the truth of God's sovereignty being taught again across the spectrum of many denominations.

Thanks for taking the time to write regularly. I am sure many will be blessed as I have been.

Albert Mohler is an amazingly prolific writer. Not only does he have his daily blog, he is also a frequent contributer to Beyond The News Commentary. For those who think that his blog entries are too long, the daily Commentaries are transcriptions of a 60 second audio spot. A very quick read. Coincidentally (I think not), Albert Mohler is today's commentator.
