fireproof

I keep hearing great things about the new movie, Fireproof, from the same folks who created Facing the Giants. It's still playing at the Downtown Cinemas. Not sure it will still be there come Friday, but if it is, it could be a great date night . . . Here's the trailer:

Yes, it's still there. It opened in 839 theaters last week, stayed in everyone and expanded to a total of 850 this week. Next week it will be in 300 more. Great movie to take an unsaved friend to. You will enjoy it.

Great film. Great message. A must see. A great date night for couples. Some of the acting is wooden, but the impact of the story carries the film. We were surprised the theater was about half full at the 740 show on Tuesday at the Downtown Center.

We thought it was great, too. Seemed like a better fit for the Hallmark channel, but I'm glad it made it to the big screen for the strong message it sent. I concur with the Peeks- bring tissues.
